- ２ヶ月前親知らずを抜きました。その時、耳と喉の痛みもありました。ところが、この一週間、前と同じで耳と喉が痛くて、抗生剤や痛み止を飲んでも痛いです。夜も眠れないくらい痛くてたまりません。どうして痛みが長く続いていますか。歯科か内科に行ったほうがいいですか?

ご相談の件ですが…直接拝見しておりませんので断定的なことは申し上げかねますが、もし親知らずの抜歯と現在の症状が関連しているとして、歯科的な原因としては、「抜歯穿治癒不全」か「局所的な歯周炎の急性化」がまず推測されます。
一つ目の抜歯穿治癒不全は、通常時間とと共に塞がってくるはずの抜歯後にできた骨の中の空間に、何らかの理由で細菌が繁殖し、しばらく経ってから症状が出てくる病気です。
もう一つの歯周炎の急性化は、同様に細菌感染の急速な炎症ですが…抜いた穴はほぼ塞がっていても、抜歯後の状態により清掃がしにくかったりすると表層(歯肉の表面)に近い方で菌が繁殖し、炎症を起こした状態です。
その他、根尖性歯周炎(隣の歯の根の先に、親知らずから回り込んだ菌が繁殖する病変)なども考えられますが…これらが症状の原因だったとすると、抗生物質と消炎鎮痛剤の投与がまず初動の対応法の一つとなります。
念のため申し上げますが、これらは全て、親知らず抜歯が当時適切に行われていたとしても起こり得る術後感染です。
抗生剤と痛み止めは、こんかい症状が出てから歯科医院で診断を受けられて処方されたものでしょうか？抗生剤や痛み止めにも沢山の種類が有ります。上記のような感染症がお悩みの原因で、お薬を飲んでも症状が改善しないなら、お薬が合っていない可能性も有ります。また、お薬だけでは抑えきれない状態…投薬と同時に何らかの緊急消炎処置を施さないとおっつかない状態も考えられます。
いずれにしても、過去に抜歯を受けた時と同じ部位が同じような症状を出しているなら、歯科との関連性は疑われますので、まず歯科医院を受診してみられることをお勧め致します。そこでレントゲン等の診査・診断を受けて、可能なら適切な治療を受けられてください。
もしも歯科的に異常が見受けられなかった場合は、内科等の医療機関を受診されてはいかがでしょうか。
今回に限らず、心配になるほどとか薬を飲んでも効かない症状がある場合は、できる限り早めに専門機関を受診されるのが大切です。
