麻酔なしで歯科治療が行えるか
- 歯医者が苦手で前いってた歯医者で前歯の虫歯を直していただいたのですがその時から前歯の横も虫歯があったにも関わらずなにもされず現在歯磨きをしてでも悪化しまくっており、そろそろ治療をしないとと思いました。
ただ私自身針が苦手で麻酔をすると後で気分が悪くなってしまうのですが、麻酔なしで痛さには極力耐えれると思うのですが、麻酔なしで治療は出来ますでしょうか。
また虫歯は冷たいものを飲むと少し痛むぐらいです。
前の歯医者に行っても治してくれなさそうで無理やり麻酔をさせられかけたので少し怖いです。

ご相談の「麻酔なしで歯科治療が行えるか」ですが…「ごく小規模」の治療だったり、歯周基本治療(いわゆるクリーニング)等であれば、それで施術できるケースもあると思われます。
ですが…これらはごく一部で、歯科の治療はやはり麻酔が必要なケースの方が多いと考えられます。現在の歯の症状は、「冷たいものをお口に入れると少し痛い程度」とのことですが…御自覚されている症状と虫歯その他の口腔病変の大きさは、必ずしも比例しません。個人差•状態差が大きいです。
不安はごもっともですが…麻酔のかけ方を工夫したり、麻酔そのものの種類を選んだり、治療を丁寧に行うことで、術後に気分が悪くなったり等のリスクを軽減することは充分可能だと考えられます(いままで診て下さってた先生も悪意があった訳では決してなく、「何とかしてやれないものか」の一心で、ちょっと強く説得してでも治療を進めようと試みられたのではないかと推察します。どうかその先生のことを悪く思われませんよう)。
