- 先日右下の親知らずの抜歯をしました。
当日はもちろん、後日まですごい出血で、抜歯後、次の日になっても大量出血で病院にかけつけ縫ってもらいました。
抜歯した後、耳が痛むのですが中耳炎などもありえますか？
まだ、抜歯して3日目ですが抜歯の痛みと様子見でいてもいいのか、耳鼻科など抜いた歯医者に相談したほうがいいのか教えてください。
また、耳に炎症が出るとしたらどのようなことが考えられるか教えてください。埼玉県21歳女性 - こんにちは！三木照久歯科、院長の三木照久です。
ご相談の件ですが…右の親知らずを抜いてもらって、右の耳の辺りが痛いのでしょうか？
同じ症状のお訴えは、当院での数千本の抜歯の中でも記憶にありませんが…いただいたご相談から考えた原因は、
術直前の炎症の状態、
施術(お口を開けていた)の時間、
その際のご本人にとってしんどい開口、
術後の感染、
抜歯前後の体調、
体質
などです。
炎症が何らかの理由で大きい場合、抜歯したところからある程度広範囲に広がることがあります。
炎症が比較的強い状態で止むを得ず抜歯した場合、一時的に周辺にまで強い症状が出る可能性があります。
しばしば起こるのは、抜歯した部位の痛み、腫れ、開口障害、顎関節痛、飲み下す際の喉の痛みなどです。
抜歯に時間がかかったり、強い力で抜いたり、お口の開きにくい方が施術のために頑張って無理に口を開けていると、(顎も関節ですので)耳の近くに症状が出ることも考えられます。その場合、開口障害…お口の開きにくさも出る可能性が高いです。
お口の中は極めて細菌の多い場所であり、術前術後に抵抗力がなんらかの理由で下がっていたり、強い感染力の細菌がそこにいれば、抜歯の傷口から感染を起こし、強い炎症が周囲に波及することもあります。その場合は、抜歯した部分が一番痛いことが多いです。
シンプルに考えて…抜歯は手術ですので、患者さんの何より大切な健康を取り戻すために、お体の一部に傷を作るわけです。体質などによっては、はっきりした理由も分からないまま、強い炎症がを伴う方も、まれにいらっしゃいます。
いずれにせよ、痛みと言うのは炎症の一兆候ですので、痛みが出ていると言うことは、裏を返せばその部位に炎症が起きていると言うことになります。
また…必ずとは言えませんが…抜歯後から悩ましい症状が出たということは、その処置と関連している可能性は否めません(施術に「問題」があると申し上げてあるのではありません、「関連性」です)。
まずは、処置を行ってくださった先生にしっかりと相談し、よく診ていただいてはいかがでしょうか。
ご相談内容からは症状そのものより、何が起こっているか分からない不安が、あなた様を一番苦しめてるのではないかと心配します。
