毎年恒例、城西高校の歯科検診に行って参りました。

5月16日、学校歯科医をさせていただいてる徳島県立城西高校の歯科検診に行って参りました。
開業して程なくから、城西高校の学校歯科医をしてみませんかとお声掛けをいただき…もちろんその校舎の真正面で開業しておきながら、お断りする理由はどこにもありません。むしろ、「いつかどこかの学校歯科医をして、未来を担う学生達の健康維持にも貢献したい」と夢見ておりました。その機会を与えていただいたのです。
そういうわけで、是非にとお受けして以来のお付き合いです。今では従来の検診や保健会議への参加はもちろん、セミナー等もさせていただいております。先生方にもいつも本当に善くしていただき、ありがとうございます。
ライフワークとして、(お邪魔でなければ、ですが)体力•気力の続く限りはお力になれればと思っています。
城西高校の子達は皆明るく、検診やセミナーで訪れた際にはいつも気持ちのいい挨拶をしてくれます‼︎みんな、いつも元気をありがとう‼︎

農業高校として生まれ、長い歴史を持つ城西高校はかつて林業も学ぶことができたと言います。その興味深い伝統ゆえ、お庭がいつも綺麗に整備されています(いまはいわゆる普通科にあたる総合学科まであります)。

その一環として、学校保健活動に毎年のように新たな工夫を加えられていて、先生方の「学生達にもっと、何かしてあげられないか」と常に考える優しくも暖かい…いや、熱い想いに頭が下がります‼︎
その想いが徐々に形になり、生徒諸君の健康状態も統計的に年々向上を見せております‼︎
