毎年恒例、城西高校の歯科検診に行って参りました。

こんにちは！三木照久歯科、院長の三木照久です。

5月16日、学校歯科医をさせていただいてる徳島県立城西高校の歯科検診に行って参りました。

開業して程なくから、城西高校の学校歯科医をしてみませんかとお声掛けをいただき…もちろんその校舎の真正面で開業しておきながら、お断りする理由はどこにもありません。むしろ、「いつかどこかの学校歯科医をして、未来を担う学生達の健康維持にも貢献したい」と夢見ておりました。その機会を与えていただいたのです。

そういうわけで、是非にとお受けして以来のお付き合いです。今では従来の検診や保健会議への参加はもちろん、セミナー等もさせていただいております。先生方にもいつも本当に善くしていただき、ありがとうございます。

ライフワークとして、(お邪魔でなければ、ですが)体力•気力の続く限りはお力になれればと思っています。

城西高校の子達は皆明るく、検診やセミナーで訪れた際にはいつも気持ちのいい挨拶をしてくれます‼︎みんな、いつも元気をありがとう‼︎

本年も、養護のY先生、もうお一人の学校歯科医である「ほり歯科」の堀先生、そして勉強がてら助っ人で来てくれた、徳島大学歯科病院の次代を担う若い臨床研修医の先生方‼︎

皆様のお陰で滞りなく検診を行うことができました‼︎今後ともよろしくお願い致します。

農業高校として生まれ、長い歴史を持つ城西高校はかつて林業も学ぶことができたと言います。その興味深い伝統ゆえ、お庭がいつも綺麗に整備されています(いまはいわゆる普通科にあたる総合学科まであります)。

重厚なオーラを放つ校舎に、その歴史の長さ•重さが滲み出ております。

養護教諭のY先生、いつもご協力ありがとうございます‼︎

もちろん影では、他にも大勢の先生方にお力を貸していただくことで学校歯科医の役目を果たせております‼︎

お世辞抜きで城西高校の先生方には、教育への情熱があります。何よりチームワークがガッチリ出来上がっています。その優しさを、学校歯科医である私にまで向けてくださいます。本当に感激です。

その一環として、学校保健活動に毎年のように新たな工夫を加えられていて、先生方の「学生達にもっと、何かしてあげられないか」と常に考える優しくも暖かい…いや、熱い想いに頭が下がります‼︎

その想いが徐々に形になり、生徒諸君の健康状態も統計的に年々向上を見せております‼︎

私も先生方に負けないよう、歯科医療に全身全霊の情熱を傾けたいと想います‼︎
