ラバーダムや顕微鏡を使った治療はされていますか？
- 左下奥歯が痛みます。昨年の夏に感染根管治療を受けていますが、ずっと治らない痛みがあります。ラバーダムや顕微鏡を使った治療はされていますか？

ご相談の件ですが…当院では診療所のスペース上顕微鏡＝マイクロスコープは未導入ですが、国産最高峰…撮影範囲が広く解像度の高い歯科用CTと、マイクロスコープと同等に術野を拡大、かつマイクロスコープでも入り得ない角度から治療部位を確認できる口腔内カメラを駆使し、高度に、より正確な診断や治療を患者さんにご提供しております。
ラバーダムに関しましては…大変良いものですが、当院では患者さんのご負担を考え、原則あまり使用しません。ラバーダムの使用は、より無菌的に根管治療を行い易いというメリットは有りますが、それを使用すれば必ず高品質の治療が行えるとは限りません。それは、膨大な治療行程の中の一要素に過ぎません。予後に与える要素としては、4%程度…あと96%は、別の部分の治療品質が影響します。
治療でもお料理でも何でもそうですが、「この器具を使えば必ずうまくいく」というものは有りません。
根管治療だけに限った上で考えても、ラバーダム以外に膨大な数の器具を使用しますし、それら一つ一つをどのように、どれだけ丁寧に正確に行うか等、最終的な治療品質は、もっと複雑かつ総合的な要素を含んでいます。
