含歯性嚢胞

右奥に埋没智歯（逆立ちした形）がありその歯の冠部をつつむように嚢胞があります。
総合病院で、嚢胞が神経に接していること、歯の位置から抜歯に1時間ほど時間を要するため、全身麻酔での抜歯をすすめられています。
局所麻酔での抜歯も不可能ではないが負担を考えるとそちらがいいのではということみたいです。
全身麻酔での抜歯には抵抗があります。
静脈内鎮静法による抜歯は可能性なものでしょうか？
調べているうちに先生のことを知り、ご質問させていただきました。

ご相談の件ですが…状態を拝見しておりませんので断定的なことは申し上げかねますが…いただいたご質問から、含歯性嚢胞でしょうか。
かなり深いところにあるもののようですね。
最終的には、診て下さる大学病院等の先生とのご相談になるかと思います。
状態により、どういった形での麻酔が適切か、選択の余地があるならそれぞれのメリットデメリットをご相談下さると思いますので、あなた様の納得のいく方法でされると良いと考えます。
ご不安とは思いますが、全身麻酔と静脈内鎮静法は、ある部分似ているものです。
例えて申し上げるなら、「熟睡」か「居眠り」か、の違いのようなものだとお考えください。
まだお若いので、全身的に問題がなければ、いずれにせよそんなに大きなリスクはないのでは、と推測致します。
どうか心落ち着けていただけると幸いです。
全身麻酔や鎮静法なら、終わってみるとあっという間に終わったような…な〜んだ、やってみれば大したことなかったな…と思える…かも、知れません。
